A smiling cook sets a plate on the pass while a server takes a ticket, in a warm kitchen at sunset by the river.

Profit Rescue

For independent restaurants, cafés, bakeries, food trucks and caterers

Find the leak. Make the work easier. Keep more of what you earn.

The kitchen is warm, the ticket printer keeps chattering, and people are coming through the door. And still, when the last ticket closes, you wonder where the money went. Profit Rescue helps you find where it’s slipping away, make the work a little lighter, and keep more of what you’ve already earned.

What Profit Rescue does

Find the leak

We look at the kitchen the way you live it: the walk-in, the prep table, the menu, the schedule, the little fees. Together we find the places money is quietly slipping away.

Make the work easier

Practical changes that fit a real Tuesday. A recipe card and the right scoop, a menu where dishes share ingredients, a schedule that matches the flow of the night.

Keep more of it

You don’t have to figure it out alone. Small steps, one week at a time, with someone who knows your numbers and notices when an old habit creeps back.

How it works

Start wherever feels right. Each step uses the same workbook, so nothing ever needs redoing.

  1. 1

    Start with the workbook

Type last month into the yellow boxes. The workbook tells you, in plain words, how the month went, where money may be hiding, and three good places to start.

  2. 2

Get a second set of eyes

Send Monica your workbook for a phone look, or have her visit your kitchen. She drives to you, sits in your dining room, and leaves you a simple path.

  3. 3

    Get ongoing help

One-on-one help every week: a check-in, support while the changes take hold, and someone who knows your numbers. Write me and we’ll find what fits.

20+ years
in hospitality
15 years
owning a catering company and bakery
300 guests
at the largest events I planned and cooked

I’ve spent more than twenty years in hospitality: steam, invoices, schedules, and guests. I owned and cooked for my own catering company and bakery in St. Louis. Since then I’ve run a boutique inn and managed daily operations for a team of more than a hundred people.

I know what it’s like when the food is good, the people are working hard, and the money still doesn’t add up. Profit Rescue is the help I wished I’d had: a clear, kind look at what’s happening, what it may be costing you, and what to do next.

You get one-on-one help, from someone who has stood where you’re standing. We can sit down on Zoom, or in your dining room if I can drive to you. You stay put. I come to you.

This is for you if

  • You own a restaurant, café, bakery, bar, food truck, or catering kitchen
  • You still pick up a pan, a ticket, or a mop some nights
  • The food is good and people come in, but the month doesn’t add up the way it should

It may not be the right fit if

  • A corporate office already handles your books and operations
  • You’re still dreaming about opening someday. Come back when the doors are open!

Stay as long as it helps

The center is always the same: keep more of what you’ve already worked so hard to earn, and make running your kitchen feel a little lighter.
